1. Expert Treatment Planning: Your restoration is designed to be as permanent as possible to enhance your smile, chosen and placed by your Enhance Dental dentist as the most appropriate and effective method of treatment for your specific needs at the time.

2. Routine Checkups: To keep your underlying teeth and gums healthy, we ask that you visit us for at least two checkups and active maintenance (scale, clean and topical fluoride application) appointments per year at Enhance Dental.

3. Routine X-Rays: We also ask that you complete routine x-rays as recommended by your Enhance Dental dentist so we can catch and treat any hidden issues early, before they threaten your restorations. These x-rays are taken at Enhance Dental.

4. Daily Hygiene & Decay: To maintain a strong foundation for your dental work, we ask that you follow our recommended daily home care routine. This guarantee does not cover restorations that fail due to neglect, poor oral hygiene, or the development of new decay.

5. Nightly Splints & Retainers (Grinding, Retention & Sleep Apnoea): If we have recommended a custom bite splint, Vivera retainers, or a Mandibular Advancement Splint (MAS) for sleep apnoea, wearing your appliance every night is essential. These devices often serve a crucial dual purpose—keeping your teeth perfectly aligned or treating sleep apnoea, while simultaneously protecting your new restorations from damaging grinding forces. To keep your guarantee active, lifelong nightly wear is required. Please bring your appliance along to your regular checkups so we can ensure it still fits perfectly and is doing its job!

6. Lifestyle & Medical Factors: Your overall health plays a huge role in the longevity of your dental work. Because of this, the guarantee does not cover damage or loss related to medical conditions, medications, dry mouth, poor dietary habits, alcohol, smoking, vaping, or drug use.

7. Trauma, Contact Sports & Inappropriate Use: While our custom ceramics (zirconia crowns and porcelain crowns) are incredibly strong, they are not indestructible. To protect your beautiful new smile during contact sports, we highly recommend wearing a custom-fitted mouthguard. However, please note that this guarantee does not cover breakages, damage, or loss caused by unexpected accidents, sports injuries (whether a mouthguard was worn or not), assault, or using your teeth for things other than food (such as chewing ice, hard boiled sweets, biting pens, olive pips, cutlery or opening packaging).

8. Exclusivity & Additional Treatment: To ensure the highest quality of care and maintain this guarantee, all adjustments, repairs, or any additional dental treatment on your guaranteed restoration must be performed exclusively by an Enhance Dental practitioner.

9. Gum Recession & Tooth Movement: Our bodies naturally change as the years go by. Because we cannot control biology, this guarantee covers the physical structure of your restoration. It does not cover aesthetic changes or replacements required due to natural gum recession, bone loss, tooth mobility, or the natural shifting of teeth over time.

10. Color Changes & Shade Matching: Your custom restoration is highly resistant to staining and is designed to keep its beautiful original color. However, your surrounding natural teeth may naturally darken or change shade over the years. Because of this, the guarantee does not cover replacing an intact restoration simply to match the new color of your aging natural teeth.

11. Root Canal Failure, Infections, Gum Disease, Extractions & Tooth Loss: A healthy tooth root, bone, and supporting gums are essential. Root canal treatment (endodontics) is a separate procedure with its own biological risks and is not guaranteed under this policy. If the natural tooth supporting your crown, veneer, or bridge requires a root canal, suffers a failed root canal (endodontic) treatment, develops an infection or crack in the root, incurs periodontal (gum) disease, requires an extraction for any reason, or falls out/sheds naturally due to any cause (including advanced bone loss), the guarantee on that specific restoration is voided.

12. Dental Implants & Implant Crowns: If you have received an implant crown, this guarantee covers the custom zirconia or porcelain crown or restoration we place on top of the titanium implant. However, the underlying surgical implant fixture (the titanium root in your jawbone) relies entirely on your body’s biological healing, bone health, and immune response. Therefore, this guarantee does not cover the surgical implant fixture itself. If an implant fails to integrate, or is lost due to bone loss or peri-implantitis (gum disease around the implant), the guarantee on the attached implant crown is voided.

13. Resin & Composite Exclusions: This guarantee is exclusively designed for our premium ceramic, zirconia, and porcelain restorations. Because composite resin materials (such as resin veneers, composite bonding, and standard white fillings) naturally wear down, stain, and require maintenance much more frequently than ceramics, they are not covered under this 7 Year Guarantee.

14. Like-for-Like Replacements: This guarantee covers a direct, identical replacement of your original restoration. If your natural tooth structure can still be restored but a different type of zirconia or porcelain restoration becomes clinically necessary, (for example a porcelain veneer fails and the tooth then requires a zirconia crown or porcelain crown) we will gladly apply a $200 courtesy discount toward your newly required treatment if it is provided by an Enhance Dental dentist.

15. Repair vs. Replacement: As mentioned in our guarantee, our first priority is always to preserve your existing restoration. If a minor issue occurs (such as a small chip), your Enhance Dental dentist will evaluate the damage and determine whether a conservative repair is the best clinical solution, or if a full replacement is necessary. Because this decision is based strictly on clinical integrity, it remains at the sole professional discretion of your dentist. If a clinically appropriate repair is recommended but declined, the guarantee for a free replacement will not apply.

16. Account Settlement: To keep your guarantee active, all accounts and fees related to your original restorative treatment must be settled in full at the time the treatment is performed at Enhance Dental.

17. No Cash Refunds: This guarantee covers the cost of repairing or replacing the restoration at Enhance Dental. It does not cover, nor does it provide, a cash refund for the original cost of the treatment.

18. 14-Day Notification: To help us protect your tooth and keep your smile looking its best, please notify Enhance Dental within 14 days if you notice any chipping, damage, or debonding of your restoration. If we happen to be closed, simply sending an email or leaving a voicemail is perfectly fine! Please note that to keep your guarantee active, we do require you to reach out within this 14-day window.

19. Business Continuity: This guarantee is a promise from Enhance Dental and remains valid while the practice operates under its current ownership, this being Dr Joseph Paino. Please understand that in the rare event the practice is ever sold or closed, this specific guarantee cannot be transferred to new ownership and does not include a cash refund.

20. Terms at Time of Treatment: To ensure complete fairness and transparency, your guarantee is governed strictly by the specific guidelines that were active and published on the exact date your restorative treatment was completed. While Enhance Dental may occasionally update or upgrade these website guidelines over the years (as noted by the “Last Updated” date above), the terms provided to you on your completion date are the ones that will always apply to your smile.
